This venue hosts live, original music on

Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

We have recently introduced a Play It Forward Australian Music T-Shirt Day event, raising funds for Support Act while showcasing local artists and promoting awareness of fair pay for musicians. Although Cowra does not have a dedicated live music venue, the Cowra Civic Centre actively presents live music and encourages touring artists to include Cowra as part of their regional tours. There is a strong appetite for live music within Cowra and the surrounding region, and we are committed to creating more opportunities for local artists and live music audiences to connect.

Other advice

  • Local community has a some appetite for live music. Nostalgic/bands have proved to sell out time and time again. Dates and days can be important depending on the time of the year. The venue is booked annually for the Cowra Eisteddfod for three weeks of May (after Mother's Day). Dance schools generally host events in November early December. Some local events could be complimented by a live music event and we encourage touring artists to consider this.

This venue operates on the unceded land of the Wiradjuri people. AMIN pays respects to their Elders past and present.
