Other space information
The Taproom has a drum kit chandelier as a prominent feature. It hangs in front of the bar that has 24 taps of beer made by Shedshaker Brewing. The award-winning kitchen team are renowned for their Italian-inspired food which comprehensively caters for vegan, vegetarian and other dietary requirements. Shedshaker Brewing is owned by Doug Falconer (drummer, Hunters & Collectors) and his partner Jacqueline Brodie-Hanns.

Accessibility information
The Shedshaker Taproom was opened in November 2024, having moved from a smaller space at the same location. It meets or exceeds all current building regulations regarding access. The stage has two stairs from floor. There is a mezzanine that is accessed by stairs only.

Travel tips
- Shedshaker Brewing is based at the Mill in Castlemaine - a precinct that also houses Boomtown Winery, Das Kaffeehaus, a vintage Bazaar, chocolate, ice cream and coffee roasters and numerous art studios, amongst other things.
- Central Victoria is very hot in summer, very cold in winter. In between these can be both in one day.
- Driving at night? Beware of kangaroos.
